supercoach3

Every SuperCoach team needs its balance of cash cows. Just like the stock market you need to buy low and sell high with these investments. Picking the right cash cows gives you the cash flow flexibility needed to add the best SuperCoach players to your side during the regular season. Missing out on these cash cows will see your side fall behind the top sides very quickly. This is the major key to having a successful SuperCoach team so invest wisely. There are a lot more cheapies in the backs and halves rather than the forward spots. You would ideally spend most of your cash on some quality forwards and pick up as many cheapies as you can in the backs. Below is a guide of where you can find the best cheapies.

Fullback

There are quite a few options at the Fullback position. The two guys guaranteed a start in first grade are Latrell Mitchell and Jaelene Feeney. Other options include Jordan Rankin who is  a bit more expensive at (145,500) and Greg Eden at (160,400). A couple of rookies that could make their debut during the season are Brad Abbey (113,800) and Bevan French (113,800). Brad Abbey could get a look in with the early injury to Brett Morris.

CTW

Curtis Scott has been labelled a future superstar so he is definitely worth stashing away. The two biggest bargains that I can see are Ben Henry and Michael Chee Kam who are both dual ctw/2rf and priced at (133,300). Both players are capable of cementing a starting spot at their respective clubs. Ben Henry is probably the warriors best tackling backrower so if fit will command a lot of minutes. Michael Chee Kam was an under 20s star who has been held back by injuries. He showed promising signs at Manly at the back end of last year so hopefully he can crack the tigers lineup sometime during the season. Stash options include Kerrod Holland from the Bulldogs, Jed Cartwright from the Titans and Nines superstar Gideon Mosby from the Cowboys. Nathan Davis has been tipped to start for the Titans at centre. Pat and Chanel Mata’utia will be named to start for the knights.

Five Eighth

Some more great cheapie options at 58th. We have already covered Jaelene Feeney who is a dual FLB/58th. Jackson Hastings slots straight into the halves at the roosters with James Maloney leaving for the sharks and he should also slot straight into your Supercoach team as he is priced at a bargain rate of 133,300. Next to be considered is Ashley Taylor (122,600) who should start at halfback for the titans after the season ending injury to Kane Elgey. Cody Walker (122,600) will start round 1 for the bunnies but will be back to the bench once keary returns so he would be considered a stash for now. Another stash candidate is Te Maire Martin who is back up to the injury prone Jamie Soward and Peter Wallace. The play to start the season would be to pickup Hastings and then cash him in for Te Maire Martin once Hastings price has peaked.

Cody Walker (122,600)

Jayden Nikorima (113,800)

Halfback

Same players available at 58th are available at HB too. Jackson Hastings, Jayden Nikorima, Cody Walker and Te Maire Martin should all be considered here.

2nd Row

Slim pickings here so will have to balance out the position with mid-range players priced between 150k-300k. Ben Henry and Michael Chee Kam can be picked here but you would rather have them at CTW so you can use your cash to strengthen the 2rf position.

MAJOR KEY ALERT!!!!! >>> Jacob Saifiti is the big winner here. Named to start for the knights in the backrow and is also listed as a dual FRF/2RF

Jacob Saifiti (113,800)

Ben Henry (133,300)

Michael Chee Kam (133,300)

Jed Cartwright (113,800)

Luke Bateman (133,300)

Front Row

Also slim pickings here for cheapies. You will have to find some mid ranger players in the 150k-300k range here. Zane Musgrove will be a must have if he is named in round 1 with all the injuries to the rabbitohs front row. Jacob Saifiti can also be selected at FRF.

Jacob Saifiti (113,800)

Daniel Saifiti (113,800)

Zane Musgrove (113,800)

Pauli Pauli (144,200)

Hooker

Jayden Nikorima and Matt Parcell are the stand out choices here. Matt Parcell scored 5 tries in a QLD cup match last year and has shown he has the potential to be a big time point scorer in supercoach.
